In this episode, Rowan surprises me with an email from a woman who was my neighbor growing up. The email that she wrote was simply TOO MUCH… SO GOOD… and I am VERY HAPPY there is no video of this episode… because there were definitely tears! This is a great episode if you might be feeling somewhat down and just need a pick-me-up or to know the world is not such a bad place after all.

So many times in this podcast you will see that Rowan leaves me pretty dumbfounded or simply marveling at his intellect and insightfulness at such a young age. This episode is maybe the epitome of a time when Rowan leaves me scratching my head without any words… this is maybe my favorite episode, at least top three, and the concept that is discussed is VITAL to the book and so many future conversations. If you are looking for an important episode that will definitely benefit your life, this is THE ONE.

This episode starts with an email from Rowan’s Dad but ends with some really important and beneficial insights into being a human and interacting with and dealing with other human beings. There is value…

This is another episode based on a chapter in the book, and it is GREAT! “The Good, The Bad, and The Best” chapter in the book is one of the more important chapters by itself but also in the fact that it helps to set up many of the other chapters and concepts that are expressed. Because it is so important and vital, the discussion of this chapter was vigorous and invigorating… at least for me! If you listen, I hope you enjoy.

In this episode, I tell two different stories of two different car accidents I have been in during my lifetime. The stories alone are worth listening to… and if you do listen to this episode, I guarantee you will ask yourself, “What the heck? How is that possible?” and you will learn something.
-
The title of this episode basically says it all. However, if you do actually listen, I think you will be a little bit shocked about how multi-faceted the concept of authenticity really is… at least in this conversation. .

Whoa! I was NOT ready to revisit this episode! Trigger warning definitely, but suicide is mentioned and discussed A LOT in this episode… but we also talk about friends and saying “I love you” and the importance of checking in with each other and basically just caring about one another. This is a good one.

The cool thing about receiving an email from a listener, well… let’s be honest, there are MANY cool things, but the interesting thing in regards to this particular episode, is it allows Rowan and I to hear a different perspective and forces us (in a good way) to think differently than we are naturally inclined to think. So appreciative for this email and the bravery and vulnerability that was shown… it helped to create a great episode.

This podcast embraces vulnerability in everything we do! It is a vital component of how we approach this whole process. It doesn’t get much more vulnerable than this episode. Has anyone ever wanted to be liked by others? Wondered why they don’t fit in? Why don’t people like me and accept me? Yea… me too! Listen to this one. Actually, it is probably more correct to write, “experience” this one… because it WILL bring some things to the surface.

How many of us know exactly what we want from this life but are too afraid to actually pursue it? Ummm… me! Definitely! We can overanalyze the heck out of everything and just basically lose our soul in the process or we can be brave and step up, and start moving toward that goal we ACTUALLY WANT in this life…
