• Whoa! Are you ready for it? I don’t think you are… but this is a GREAT episode with a LOT of really hard truths and honest looks at ourselves and some serious vulnerability… all in trying to uncover some very valuable and necessary insights in becoming a fully self-actualized human being. This one is necessary… but I will NOT be easy.

  • Rowan has gotten rid of all social media (Well, MOST!) and this is basically where this conversation starts. What happens when you rid your life of social media? What do people think? What do YOU think? What changes? What do you miss? What do you not miss? What are the benefits… this IS the important one! Are we all just becoming the same person, or is it possible to still be a unique, thoughtful, and self-individualized person? These are BIG topics and I think this conversation does a great job covering A LOT…

  • Phew! Ok, this IS a TOUGH one! If you don’t want to cry, I don’t think you should watch/listen to this episode. But if you are ok crying and you want to experience an amazing conversation with some amazing thoughts and insights, this is DEFINITELY an episode you should check out! You have been warned…

  • Sometimes life is just tough… heck, A LOT of times life is pretty tough… and we get into a slump. Rowan shares some of his experiences during the last two weeks and it leads to an awesome discussion about the brain and being present in the moment and how we often take steps to avoid being present, trauma, our bodies, the connections between everything and just overall mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

  • This is our first attempt at a “reaction video.” Rowan and I go back and revisit “Episode 2”, which I find out is not REALLY episode 2 in how we recorded things, but in how we released things. The episode itself talks about a very important concept in the book I wrote and I think the reactions are very informative and pretty funny. This is just a fun episode all around and if you need some levity along with a bit of insight, this is a good option.

  • This episode starts out with the question, “Are you gay?” and ends with the question, “Are you your dad?” Hmmm… yea, an interesting one. I like this one.

  • For an episode that talks about taking small steps, it is a long one… but well, well worth your time. This episode explores so many vital topics such as the importance of small steps, finding “your” path, moving forward even in adverse circumstances, being comfortable with being uncomfortable, and how to “impact” others in a way that benefits them but also can help you… along with many other insights.

  • If you want to only watch one video (or listen) episode of Nopes and Opes, this is THE ONE! This is a video reaction where Rowan and I watch a video made by Dr. Anna Lembke, but the reactions and the discussions this video spawns are AWESOME! Please watch… not for me… but for you! Your life will be better!

  • Honestly, in revisiting this episode it did NOT go where I thought we would take it… and I am actually thankful for that! Where we go in this episode and the thoughts and ideas that are expressed are not necessarily “conventional” but they are definitely worthy.

  • Rowan gives a step-by-step, or I guess really a job-by-job account of every “career” he has tried since graduating from college, and it spawns an interesting discussion about passion and chasing one’s dreams and how different people are built differently and how all of us want and need different things from this life. If you are one (of many in the world today) who is feeling a bit lost and wondering what exactly you might want to do in this life, this might be a good episode for you.
