This one is not necessarily an “episode” in the traditional sense… it is really just a chance to with a Happy Birthday to Rowan’s “Fazha”, Kurt Hanold! He IS the MAN in so many different ways and it is fun to give him his props… just a bit. There are also PLENTY of others to whom we owe HUGE THANKS… and unfortunately we mention only a few… but it is a start. If you listen or watch, I do think you will enjoy.

This episode originates from a post on my blog “A Grateful LIfe.” It ends with a quote from Mickey Rooney that states, “You will always pass failure on your way to success.” I think that sums things up nicely. Failure is your friend. Failure is an opportunity. Failure just means you are trying… whether you believe all the cliches and sayings about failure or not… they are true.

Rowan shares a story of something that happened to him recently involving a young woman he knows that makes me SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE… This story definitively shows the generational gap between Rowan and myself but also is a good example of how dating has changed and is changing in the world today. This episode really dives into some important topics as well and I think will be interesting for those in the dating world currently or those who simply want to think about/explore some of the topics that are discussed.

I think this quote from this episode sum things up rather nicely. “When we put our focus on the future, we lose our ability to create the present.” This is a deeply philosophical one but if you invest the time, there is definitely some value.

I think this is the very first time EVER I have “recorded” anything in my apartment for public consumption! It may not seem like a big deal to most, but if you know me and you know how private I like to keep things, you will KNOW this is a big deal. This is a pretty loose episode without a really firm starting point but by the end I think the conversation touches on some REALLY IMPORTANT & HELPFUL topics and has a great flow…
